About the Book

Storage Room of the Mind was created from Michelle Robbertse’s deep passion for helping individuals and families bring calm, function, and meaning back into their daily lives. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in occupational therapy, mental health, sensory processing, and executive functioning, Michelle blends practical therapeutic insight with gentle spiritual wisdom to show how environment, structure, and daily rhythms shape our wellbeing. Through compassionate assessment, simple routines, environmental adaptations, and evidence-based frameworks—including AOI, PGAP, Dunn’s Sensory Processing model, Barkley’s Executive Function approach, and Polyvagal principles—she guides readers toward sustainable peace, clarity, and intentional living. Rooted in real stories and practical compassion, the book invites overwhelmed adults to organize their “storeroom of the mind,” create supportive systems, and reclaim a grounded, meaningful everyday life.
